It happened to us 6 months ago on our patrol . Just been shopping in Lismore NSW and heading home rounded a bend at 100 kph and the rear felt very loose and as we crossed a bridge and the left rear wheel came off . Scary moment !! No damage to the patrol but rim was stuffed and we lost a wheel stud . I bolted the spare on and drove home very slowly another 20 km . I had to replace the disc brake and wheel studs .

Pajero Sport are pretty capable they have rear locker and all, that was way too stock for that track lol

What was the cause? Did having the camper in tow help or hinder handling the situation?

Thanks Peter. We started on Pauls Lane off the Yarra Glen Healesville Rd, then wound our way through Toolangi, Spraggs Rd to Luke Creek No 2 Tk, Marginal Rd, and Pines Tk. The Video shots were on Pauls, Luke Ck and Pines.

I agree and the Patrol has a front diff lock. But the issue was I was hung up on the diffs. I needed bigger diameter tyres to clear the rutts rather than diff locks. Thanks for watching.

nice videa, if you guys dont have Tjm or arb air lockers you might wanna look into them, helps you crawl out up and down ALOT easier.

you're right...33's and lockers was no go and 35's and holden v8 no good either. Just hang up on the tree roots.

those bogholes are becoming pretty much impassable, used to be able to get through there on 31's now even 37's struggle

no not a hunter but deer have been spotted in the area. Its National Park so you cant shoot anyway
